Adorable Diary:

Ah! Ye Olde T-Shirt Shoppe in the olde village has finally finished our t-shirts and we now have them up for sale! There's another style to be made, but for now, we have Princess Katie "Feisty" shirts in pale blue and baby pink (some sizes already sold out, though). To see or order them, click the title of this post!

We also have a t-shirt for boys AND girls of the whole band done in a retro cartoon style. There's me, Racer Steve, Super Chef Jeff, Judo Champ Billy, Torquie (Racer Steve's robot helper in his garage).

We hope you love them!

Remember...our next public show will be on June 21st. There will be 2 shows-- 3 pm and 4 pm at Bleecker Park in the West Village for the Make Music NY Festival. Hope you can come!

Thanks for reading, I remain,

Songs For The Coolest Kids is Disney's FamilyFun Magazine's Favorite!

Dearest Dear Darling Diary:

Today is a gorgeous day! Sun is shining, birds are chirping, my dragon, Peyton's breath is much, much better now (I planted some mint and thank the heavens, she's nibbling on it)!

Anyway, GREAT NEWS! Disney's FamilyFun Magazine has chosen us as one of their "favorite things" and even has a piece written up about our CD and has a picture of Racer Steve and I! Thanks, Walt! We feel very honored. They said we "deliver a sparkling album that effortlessly lives up to it's title, Songs For The Coolest Kids!

CLICK ON THE TITLE OF THIS POST TO GET THE LINK!

The piece goes on, but I won't bore you. It's on newsstands now - June 2007!

Also, just for fun, we have a LIVE video up on youtube from our Central Park show. Just go to YOUTUBE.COM and type in Princess Katie & Racer Steve. If you love it, leave us a comment or rate us. We'd love it!

Must go, remember lots of gigs - Brooklyn Children's Museum, Central Park Part Deux, Union Square, Madison Square Park...etc.

Off to do chores, sadly,

Princess Katie

Help! I'm In Love With A Bandshell!

Dear Diary:

Okay, so maybe I'm not "in love" with the bandshell in Central Park, but I did LOVE playing it! Our concert today was FANTASTIC! To quote a mom, "The best yet!" These are the things that made today great:

***THE KIDS WERE SOOO CUTE! I mean, seriously. They were. No, really, I mean it. They were all dancing and playing with one another. They were sharing the soccer balls we threw out to the crowd, they shared the streamers. They looked so cute in their little spring clothes. Adorable.
***The weather was AMAZING. It was sunny and 75 degrees!
***The bandshell is in thee most incredible spot. Right near the fountain and surrounded by grass and trees, but with a huge space for dancing. I love New York City and I love this beautiful park.
***When you're in in the bandshell, you're way up high, so you can see the entire crowd (which was a big, big crowd) and watch everyone as they square-dance, rock out and act silly.

Thanks to everyone for coming and for waiting in the long line for autographs. I loved meeting all of you. Please keep checking our site for upcoming concerts. I have many that I have yet to post!

Thank you, NYC Parks Department for such a terrific honor.
